Pre-Kindy Program

Our pre-kindy program runs from 9 am to 2.30 pm each day (long day care is available). We take children from 2 to 5 years old (before 2 if your child meets our developmental profile).

The program is run by experienced teachers and staff. We provide a school readiness program to support your child for a successful transition to big school. Please click here to see what our school readiness program is all about.

The Pre-Kindy program supports a holistic approach to child development and as professional educators, we understand children develop at different stages and development is not just academic, it includes social, emotional, wellbeing, communication, and physical development.

Why is a pre kindergarten program important for your child?

Research shows zero to five is the most crucial time for your child in developing skills which will set them up for the future, the reason for this is from zero your child’s brain is taking in sensory information from their relationships, and the environment and forming new perspectives whether negative or positive, which promotes neuron connections to the brain and by five years of age 90% of your childs brain is hardwired. So the early years are the most important time to develop positive connections to thrive and become successful and capable adults.

Pre-Kindy Program

Get your child ready for Kindergarten! The Pre-Kindy Program at Conon Road Kindergarten helps to develop your child’s literacy, numeracy and social skills. Our Pre-Kindy program also provides a play-based learning environment where your child can explore, experiment and have fun!

School Readiness

Gain access to high-quality early care and education to help your children succeed in school and in life. The goal of the program is to ensure that all children are ready for kindergarten, and that they have the tools they need to succeed in school. Our program offers a variety of activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.

Long Day Care

Get a safe and nurturing environment for your children while you are at work. Long day care is a vital service for working families. At our childcare centre, we have a team of qualified and experienced early childhood educators who provide a range of age-appropriate activities.

Nature & Play
Based Learning

Have your children explore their environment, experiment with new ideas, and find solutions to problems with our Play-Based Learning. Play is an essential part of early childhood development. It provides a fun and stimulating way for children to learn about the world around them. In a play-based learning setting, children are free to explore, experiment, and play in a safe and supportive environment.

Before and After School Program

Keep your kids safe and engaged when they’re not in school. After spending a long day at school, children welcome the change in surroundings, which supports their wellbeing through providing a relaxed and secure environment away from school pressures. As most of the school day is inside learning, we spend most of our time outside.

School Holiday Care

During the school holidays we provide care for children from 2 to 12 years old.  We take children from out of area as well as Manning and St Pius Primary schools.

We have programs for both the younger and older children.  We provide activities, incursions, and excursions.

Flexible Sessions

Need childcare that doesn’t fit the standard Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 schedule? No problem! At our childcare centre, flexible sessions are tailored to meet your family’s specific needs, whether that means enrolling for only a few days a week, choosing different start and end times, or combining different types of sessions.
